Active Web Reader - Working With Feeds

Searching for words/phrases in a Feed or Web Page

Active Web Reader provides a standard way to find words or phrases in Feeds and Web Pages. The find function works on the currently open Feed or Web Page. To find a word or phrase:

  1. On the Edit menu, click Find or use the Ctrl + F shortcut key.
  2. Type one or more words that you want to search.
  3. By default, find function finds words that also contain the specified word. Check Match whole word only if this is not desired.
  4. Check Highlight All to find and highlight all occurrences of the specified word at once.
  5. Click OK to search.

If the option Highlight All is not checked then only the first occurrence of the specified word is found and highlighted. To find subsequent occurrences of the same word, point to the Tools menu and click Find Next or use the F3 shortcut key.
