Active Web Reader - Working With Feeds

Changing Auto-Update Frequency of All Feeds

The Auto Update Frequency is the time period after which a feed is updated automatically by the Active Web Reader. It can be quite tedious to change the Auto-Update Frequency of multiple feeds by going to their properties one-by-one. You can choose to change the frequency for all feeds at one go by using this feature. You can specify the frequency in terms of hours or days. It is always useful to specify the frequency depending upon the content of the feed. To change the frequency of all feeds:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Settings.
  2. Select the Feeds tab.
  3. Specify the Auto-Update Frequency. You can define the frequency in terms of hours or days.
  4. Click OK to apply the changes to all feeds.
